大家好! 我真係會掛住香港😊

Hello! Wow. Didn't imagine that I'll come to this point of my mission. This will be my last email and I'm having mixed feelings. I will truly miss being a full-time missionary... 💕

18 months... 18 months of growth, happiness/sadness/disappointments/frustrations, and miracles. I had come to know more of the Savior and what He did for us. I learned to love the people, the culture, and the country. Just like what Sister Jones said in her October 2018 General Conference talk: "When serving our God becomes our main priority in life, we lose ourselves, and in due course, we find ourselves." This is so true. I came to know more myself here in the mission and I testify that God is really mindful of us.

Just a quick highlight of what happened for the past 12 transfers (18 months) :

April 25 to June 24: 2 months training in Provo MTC felt like forever! But I am grateful that I met some great friends, church leaders, and be with my first companion - Sister McColgan. Love her through ups and downs 😊

1st transfer in the field: Born in [first area] and be with my trainer, Sister Ramboz 😊 Adjusting to missionary life is real haha...

2nd transfer: Got put in a trio (my mom/Sis Ramboz and Sister Lee), covered [2 areas] too and killed my two companions (they ended their missions with me)! Whew! Fun times. Did I really survive that? Hahaha!

3rd transfer: Left in the area and got Sister Frandsen (and killed her too haha). [First] baptism! 💕

4th transfer: Got Sister Wilson (and I killed her too lol)... Thanksgiving party in [my first] ward and sang for them 😊

5th transfer: Moved to [my second area] and got my first non-dying companion, Sister Allen! Love her. Had [another] recent convert [baptized] 😊 Celebrated Christmas and New Year at IKEA for our apartment dinners haha.

6th transfer: Stayed with AuAu and opened [a new area] too! So fun! Met [a lot of friends whom we taught]... [and one of them had a] baptism 😊

7th transfer: Had Sister Boniao (my first Filipina companion). Gave [another friend] a baptismal date.

8th transfer: Moved to Macau which is my favorite area! Got to teach my elementary bestfriend 😊 I just love Macau in general. Everything in Macau and my trio life (with Sister Meacham and Sister Fung) was great! 💕

9th transfer: Moved to [a new area] and got Sister Alboroto (my 2nd Filipina companion). It was sooo fun to serve with her. She's one of my bestfriends in the mission 😊 Also, [our friend from my 7th transfer] got baptized! 💕

10th transfer: Got my baby/trainee, Sister Madriaga (3rd Filipina companion). Learned a lot from her 💕 [Another previous friend] got baptized too!

11th transfer: Me and my trainee moved to [two other areas] and whitewashed those areas... Had fun living with Sister Mendoza and Sister Badua too. It's really obvious from the videos I posted on my blog right? Haha.

12th transfer: The final! Got Sister Briz (4th Filipina companion) and had a blast doing full Tagalog work. Dinner everyday in the everyday branch lol. Gave talks for the everyday branch. Partook of the Sacrament for at least 3 to 5x/week... Farewell partiesss... another baptism and [more] baptisms 💕

Wow! That's the end of my mission? Aaaah. So fast! Hahahaha. But for reals, I will miss it. I will miss China Hong Kong Mission. I will miss wearing my name tag every day. I will miss greeting Jousahn 早晨, Hello po! Or good morning po! ... But I promise that I'll be a better member of His church and help further His work even though I don't have this name tag anymore. I promise that I'll help the missionaries whichever ward I'll be in 😊

Come follow Him is the invitation. Come follow Him, by taking upon ourselves the name of Christ, always remembering Him and keeping His commandments. No worldly recognition or reward can be or is more important than our Savior. He is the way, the truth and the life.

I love my mission. It taught me a lot of things. I will forever treasure it... Brothers and Sisters, our Heavenly Father loves each one of us. I know that Jesus is the Christ. He lives... May we always strive to emulate His perfect example and always remember Him and what He has done for us. I know that Joseph Smith is the prophet of the restoration. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I love reading it everyday. I know that families can be together forever. I know that being a full-time missionary is hard but it's totally worth it. I know all these things are true and I leave these, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
