"No lying" haha
WOW, it's April now! Happy April fools everyone ๐Ÿ˜ Time flies sooo fast! Shoutout to Sister Ventura who'll have her birthday on the 2nd. Love you, Sis V! Padayon lang sa pagsangyaw sa ebahelyo ni Jesucristo ๐Ÿ˜Š Proud of you!

Highlights from last week:

-For Pday, [some] members chenged us for buffet! They're so sweet! The members love feeding us and it's so nice of them! They always thank us and appreciate our service ๐Ÿ’œ I love them so much! Once I get home, I will also do the same and make sure that I will be a good member missionary ๐Ÿ˜Š (not just feeding the missionaries haha but also participating in member missionary work).

-We were also able to meet with our 11 year old investigator/friend. It's been months since we had our last lesson with her (I was still with Sister Allen that time) and we extended a baptismal date again but she declined it. Mouh mahntaih (no problem!). Our next step is to continue building her faith and help her be more inclined in reading the scriptures. I'll probably buy a Book of Mormon picture book for her ๐Ÿ˜‰ ... Well, she said she has a desire but she is not yet sure about it. It's okay, maahnmaahn (slowly) ๐Ÿ˜Š ... Do you guys have any ideas on how we can help her? ๐Ÿ˜

We will continue building up her desire to be baptized and follow Christ's example.

-We also taught "Sis. G." last Saturday about Tithing and Fasting. She understood these commandments and is really excited to help build the kingdom of God by paying her own tithes once she becomes a member. Her baptismal date is still on April 28th (hopefully [our other friend] will accept this same date too). "Sis. G." also met with our Bishop yesterday and had an interview with her. She is planning to go to BYU or LDSBC by the end of this year ๐Ÿ˜Š We are so excited for her! She's golden! ๐Ÿ˜„

Pictures and Video: Soymilk ๐Ÿ’œ we're so obsessed with VitaSoy
and Family Home Evening!

- Then we also had interviews with our Mission President ๐Ÿ˜Š President Phillips is so cool! I can really see his passion and his example of doing the missionary work and assisting us in all aspect of this work. Grateful for him and his wife! ๐Ÿ˜Š

- Aside from all the inspired answers that I got from the said interview, I was also inspired by the testimonies of those members that we visited last week. They are so powerful and really faithful members of the church. Their conversion stories are amazing... In fact two of those members that we visited were 80+ years old and both have health problems but it didn't interfere with their desire to continue going to church. They still go to church every Sunday and partake of the Sacrament. They have a powerful testimony about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I admire their faithfulness and would like to follow their example once I reach that same age... Pioneer members here in Hong Kong really appreciate and are grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and having that knowledge with them. May we also do the same thing ๐Ÿ˜Š

Pictures: Super cute pohpo and very faithful!
Even though her kids are all against the church, no one can stop her ๐Ÿ˜‰

Talk to ponder this week

I love the people of Hong Kong. I love this work. I love our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Have a great week! ๐Ÿ’œ
