How's everyone doing? ๐Ÿ˜Š

Updates/Highlights from last week:

For P-day -

We went to the place where the first Baptism for China Hong Kong mission happened in 1950. It was definitely a spiritual experience! Her conversion story is super awesome! While we were reading her conversion story, I definitely felt the Spirit and it was super peaceful and calm. Her Baptism was during winter time and the missionaries just built a little dam with rocks to trap the water in the stream so that it would become deep enough to perform baptism.

Missionay work update -

We met with "Sis. C." last week and talked about tree of life and basically focused on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how we can partake of the "fruit". It was a great lesson! We invited her Baptism but she said it'll be a challenge for her to ask her parents' approval cos they are Buddhists... We testified that we know through showing a good example and by serving her parents, they will see what does the Gospel's influence in her life... and hopefully give her a permission to be Baptized... Faith can move mountains ๐Ÿ˜Š haih mh haih? (yes or no?) haha.

We also met our other friends and other potentials who are now our investigators (people we teach) ๐Ÿ˜ Amazing windows of heaven finding! It really works ๐Ÿ˜Š

Taught "Bro. A." (our recent convert) his first [after-baptism-lesson]. It was super good! We had President C. (who used to be a Stake President here in Hong Kong and is in our Ward) help us teach and fellowship [him]. ๐Ÿ˜Š He also shared his conversion story and also his mission story... It is always good to hear the conversion story from other people and see how the Gospel really changed their lives ๐Ÿ˜Š

We met a friend last week and taught her the Plan of Salvation. It's sad how people keep on saying that they have no choice but to "keep moving and live" ๐Ÿ˜• We definitely have agency and it is a special gift from God.

Church was great as always! ๐Ÿ˜Š .. This week will be busy for us and I am so excited! A lot of members also asked us to visit them haha which is good so I can know them more ๐Ÿ˜ And also we are meeting a lot of potentials this week. Truly, "No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing" - Prophet Joseph Smith ๐Ÿ˜ ... I am grateful for the Gospel and for being here in my mission and learning these spiritual things. I am grateful for Christ's Atonement and for God's unconditional love for all us.

Have a great week everyone!
