China Hong Kong Mission: 03/10/19

I had an interesting week! Full of emotions actually 😐 haha... So the...Dream Team (me and Sister Allen or the Au-Au companionship) is gone (which made me really sad), but hey I got a new Filipina companion from the Philippines - Sister Boniao. She's been out for 5 months and has been doing Filipino/Tagalog work ever since she came to Hong Kong. It's quite a challenge as she adjust from Tagalog to Cantonese work... but no worries, we'll work on this together!

Hmmm. I actually have nothing much to write. I just want to tell everyone that I am grateful to experience these hardships and challenges here in my mission. These past few weeks had been very hard. So much rejections, so much emotions, so much doubts, and so much fears. Nevertheless, I still know that Heavenly Father has a plan... I think I just focused too much on myself (which is bad!) but I will try harder this week to refocus my thoughts to the Savior. 😊

We also had our Stake Conference yesterday and these are some of the things that stood out to me:

Sometimes Faith is the only thing we have but we should never give up.
Faith is not just talking but it means demonstrating in action.
As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are asked to do things... We are given the opportunity to serve in the Church or serve other people. Sometimes it's not easy, sometimes it's inconvenient, but it will always be worth it.
Fame, popularity, wealth - - - none of these is more important than to follow Jesus Christ.
