China Hong Kong Mission: 06/24/19

Can't believe this month is almost done! In two days, I'll hit my 1 year in Hong Kong! Where did the time go? 🤪

Sooo, last week was a very very hot week here! Haha the sun makes my skin look even darker haha but it's okay, this Summer initiative is going well for our companionship. It really is exhausting but at the end of the day it's also satisfying knowing that we did our very best.

I think one of the miracles that happened last week was when we met this boy...who just decided to be a follower of Christ but is very confused about churches and religion. We taught him Restoration and has really a great interest about the message. He's very open minded person and said that he felt the Spirit after we taught him. He said he can relate to Joseph Smith's experience...

Also, we met a Filipino sister...two weeks ago and was finally able to schedule her again to meet with us last Saturday. It's interesting because she lives across our apartment (different block/building) but same floor! So she always sees us missionaries. Then one time we took the same lightrail train and she said she's very happy that she finally had the chance to meet and talk with us! She said she's familiar with our church cos back when she was young, she met couple missionaries before and also went to some of our church activities. Super cool! Really has a great potential! 😊

In one of my personal studies last week, I came across 1 Nephi 11:1. I really liked what Nephi did to diligently seek the truth! He desired, he believed, and he pondered to know the vision of his father. I know that if we do all these things, we will also receive our own personal revelation and answers to our prayers.

I love doing missionary work and I love you all! God loves us and He will never leave us alone. Have a great week everyone! Miss you all! ❤️
