China Hong Kong Mission: 04/11/19

In case you're wondering why you received this email, today is actually our Pday! Haha. We're going to the temple this morning after I send this mass email lol. I'm so excited! How's everyone doing?.. Thank you for your emails and for your encouragements... This email will cover my week from April 1st to the 7th.

Some highlights from that week:

"Sis. G" is super doing great! "Bro. A" (our recent convert) invited us for dinner and it was a good opportunity as [she] listened to [his] conversion story. She even asked how did the gospel changed his life and he answered that it helped him build stronger relationship with his family even though they're not members of the church. [She] is super excited for her baptism! 😊 Uhmm, one crazy thing that happened too was when we found out that she doesn't actually live in [our main] area and that she lives in [our additional] area! Waaaa. When we (me and Sister Allen) first met her and asked her where she lives, she said this place somewhere in [our main] area soooo we're really confused hahaha but all goods! Everything's figured out and good for the 28th 😊 I'm glad that we also cover [both areas] haha 😊 Lesson learned: Always double check or triple check our friend's address lol.

I had exchanges with Sister Yasso (She's from Australia) and it was sooo fun! She's a convert of the church 4 years ago and just by hearing her testimony and her conversion story, I knew that she's meant to serve a mission here in Hong Kong and help these people know more about God. Super good! We taught two lessons during our exchanges and one of them came to church last Sunday 😊

"W." is also rocking it! She's been very active in participating with our church activities (English class, sports activity, and church services). The last time we met with her, we taught her about the Book of Mormon and she said she's excited to read it! We gave her a challenge to finish until 1 Nephi 5. We'll see her on Saturday so we'll follow-up with her and ask her what happened on these chapters haha..

Member missionary work is still doing great! I just love [my wards] so much. They're super awesome wards 😊

What else? Uhmm... We'll watch General Conference tomorrow and on Sunday so I'm really excited for this weekend.. Then we'll have Pday again on Monday haha. Long weekend for us I guess 😊

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I sustain our living Prophet today, President Russell M. Nelson. I know he guides and leads us in these latter-days... I also know that the Christ died for our sins because He loves us sooo much.
