大家好!

Updates from last week:

We actually had a great week Our companionship hit our weekly goals last week 😊 Soooo happy!

So much experiences, miracles, and growth from last week 😊 I love being a full-time missionary! 😊

For our district council, I gave a training about Building Unity (as a general, not just comp level). I gave an activity wherein we played scripture mastery games and their goal is to reach to the middle wherein they can touch the red envelope with Jesus Christ's picture hidden inside. The twist of the game is, they each have resources (Book of Mormon, the Old Testament, the New Testament, and Preach My Gospel) and if someone doesn't know the answer, he/she can help another missionary so he/she can step forward. The lesson of the game is the closer they work together as a unit/district, the closer they get to the Savior or the closer they get to the Savior, the closer the district becomes 😊

We also had another turnover lesson from the Elders. We met [a woman] and taught her about the Book of Mormon. She's actually a former [investigator], like 8 years ago. Her other friend who was also investigating before got baptized 6 years ago. She's a bit quiet and shy so I think we'll [Build a Relationship with Trust] with her more. She's in the process of reading the Book of Mormon again 😊.. We also had [a friend] who is now reading in 1 Nephi. Wohooo! She just can't come to church every Sunday because of her work schedule but she said she'll try to ask her boss if she can change it so she can come to church too. Praying for them to progress more 😊

We also had a meeting with our Relief Society president in one of our wards. We mainly talked about how we can better help our relief society sisters especially the less-actives. In the list, there were about 200+ Relief Society returning members 😢 We planned on visiting at least 5 each week starting this week.

Windows is still going good. Sometimes good but most of the times, those people we meet aren't interested 😔 But it's okay la! One time for our windows, we met a college student..and he's very nice! We usually do our windows by the harbor here and I don't know but that moment, I was really prompted to ask him if we can give him a church tour. And then we did! He agreed and gave him a Book of Mormon afterwards. At the end of the church tour, he said! "Wow! I have never felt peaceful like this before. Thank you for bringing me to your church. I don't usually walk by the harbor when I go home but this afternoon, I just feel that I should go. Maybe this is God's plan to meet you two." Super cool!

中秋節快樂!Since Mid-autumn festival happened last Friday-Saturday, we got so much 月餅 (mooncakes) from the members. 😂 Then we had this wonderful family history activity last Saturday wherein we had a stand outside the chapel and setup a booth with balloons and us missionaries tried to invite people to come see our church (like a tour). Even though we weren't able to have someone to give a tour, we were able to get some contacts from this activity. Then we had a window on the same park we went 2 weeks ago wherein we saw [someone] again. She's now our new friend and I can tell that she really trusts us now cos she opened up more about her life. Meeting her again this week and teach her more about the gospel 😊

I know that I am here to represent and testify of Jesus Christ. I love Him and He loves you too! Life is so wonderful! 😊

Talk to ponder this week:
