Happy New Year! How was your New Year celebration? ๐Ÿ˜Š I miss you all! Can't believe it's 2019 now haha... it's the year of the Pig ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ˜

Updates/Highlights from last week:

Pictures: Started the year jogging with my roomies haha

While we were finding, we met someone named "J." who doesn't have any religious background at all and haven't heard about God ever since. We shared what is a prayer and our relationship with God. Lo and behold, he said his first prayer ever in his life! It was so cool to hear it. We know that God has been waiting to hear it.. So grateful for ending and starting the year doing the Lord's work ๐Ÿ˜Š ... The night of the 31st, me and my roomies slept at 11 then woke up at 11:58, took some pictures and had some cider haha that's how we celebrated our NY's countdown ๐Ÿ˜

Pictures: We went shopping for pants for P-Day

We also had our Temple Day last week! IT WAS SO COOL! HAHA. Please come and attend a temple session if you haven't had a chance this year ๐Ÿ˜

Pictures: Temple Day!

For our District Council last week, Elder Frey gave a training about our Missionary Purpose and our authority to be a missionary. I like when he said "When we see [the] people [of Hong Kong], imagine them in white baptismal clothes, that they are our brothers and sisters." I know that this is true. We should have this attitude and as a missionary, we desire the salvation of our our brothers and sisters ๐Ÿ˜Š I know that the Gospel is not just a "good news" but the Gospel is Christ. The Gospel is what He did, His example, His love, and His plan for everyone of us ๐Ÿ˜Š

Video and Pictures: Doing our language study (talking in Cantonese) while walking by the bridge near our apartment. The view is so pretty!

Uhmmm, "A." (our recent convert) is back from Turkey! Haha. We will start his [after baptism lessons] this week and hopefully next month he'll go to the temple and do some ordinances ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yesterday's church service was great! First Sunday of the year and it's weird to have 2 hrs church service haha but a lot of people like it lol ๐Ÿ˜ uhmm, we have 3 friends who came to church and one of them is "C.". We really think she will get baptized next month ๐Ÿ˜ She's really good and really progressing! She loves reading the Book of Mormon and said she always has this peaceful feeling whenever she comes to church ๐Ÿ˜Š We're planning to give her a baptismal date for next month ๐Ÿ˜Š

Missionary work is great! I love being a missionary ๐Ÿ˜Š I know that the Gospel is true. I know that Christ died for me, for you, and for everyone. He loves us so much. His love is unconditional. I also know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us and we have the potential to become like Him.

Picture: Nice view ๐Ÿ˜Š

Have a great week everyone! Love and miss y'all! Be happy! ๐Ÿ˜Š
