你好 Léih hóu everyone!

Picture: My new companion Sis. Allen!

I am finally here in my new area and I am enjoying it so far! It is really different from my baby area in which this area is more busier (fast-paced), more city life (?), and busier in terms of missionary work! Super great! 😊 My new companion is Sister Allen from USA. She came two transfers after me and she is so amazing! I feel like she's been out in the mission longer than I am haha... I miss [my first area] and Sister Wilson (she's back in Australia now lol). I would like to quote her "You started off your mission having to deal with four trunky companions... if you can survive that, you can survive anything!" (Wilson, 2018) Haha. New area = new learnings! 😊

Updates/Highlights from last week:

[First] Area

Met with a potential named "Sister L." and she is super nice! She's around 60s but still very active! She loves hiking and traveling haha. We were able to teach her about the Book of Mormon and how our church is different from other churches... I think she's an elect! 😊 We told the new sisters that'll replace us to continue meeting with her cos she's really a potential 😊

[New] Area

Met some of our friends (investigators) here in my new area and a lot of them are really progressing! They just had a baptism last week and he was confirmed yesterday 😊 ...Uhmm, also last Saturday we had our Ward Christmas Party and it was my first time to meet everyone! They are so welcoming and so nice! 😊 ...and we thought we would have two friends coming to the Christmas party but they both brought a family member and all four stayed for 3 hours and became friends with each other yay!

Missionary work is super great! I am excited for Christmas! I know that the gospel is true and I am very grateful for Christ's Atonement for all of us. I know that this church is true.

President Oaks (Oct 2015):

"Our Savior experienced and suffered the fulness of all mortal challenges “according to the flesh” so He could know “according to the flesh” how to “succor [which means to give relief or aid to] his people according to their infirmities.” He therefore knows our struggles, our heartaches, our temptations, and our suffering, for He willingly experienced them all as an essential part of His Atonement. And because of this, His Atonement empowers Him to succor us—to give us the strength to bear it all."

I love you all and have a great week! 💜
