How is everyone? Email time again! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Video and Pictures of last week's P-day before moving!

Updates from last week:

We're in our new areas now! [Our new] areas are a bit different from [the previous one] ๐Ÿ˜Š I feel like it's not that crowded here compared to my previous area haha.. Our Monday and Tuesday last week was full-packed. We've been busy packing our stuff, cleaning our apartment, and just making sure to turnover those people we're teaching to the other nearby missionaries...

And since we're new in this area - whitewashing/opening - we're not teaching anyone at the moment ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ but no worries! We are going to find those people! And we'll help them know more about God's perfect plan for us ๐Ÿ˜Š AND, IT'S ACTUALLY FUN TO EXPLORE AREAS haha!.. Anyways, we are now living with the other Filipino missionaries doing Tagalog work. They are Sister Badua...and Sister Mendoza. It's soooooo fun to live with them! Haha. Videos and pics below!

Our first day here in our area, we got a dinner chengout (wow!) from a member with the Elders. We visited [her] and she's so cute. She's like 60ish, widowed, but is very dedicated in learning more about the gospel. She even comes to our (kids) English class cos she said she wants to learn more English. Haha. Super cute! It was nice getting to know her.

Uhmm.. I think my miracle for the week was last Friday. It was a busy day because of the trainer trainee's meeting and then we had to go immediately...for a turnover lesson. We thought we won't make it but we did! The travel...was so fast and we did make it to their church service and had the turnover lesson after. The investigator also started to read the Book of Mormon and she reads it everyday ๐Ÿ˜Š I am really sure that she will be baptized soon ๐Ÿ˜Š I'm excited for her!

On Saturday morning, I got a message from one of my [Recent Converts] back in [my 2nd] area. She was telling me that she got accepted to LDS business college and will leave next month. She also thanked me for sharing the gospel to her... Simple but very heartfelt message. ๐Ÿ˜ญ I am really grateful for this missionary opportunity that I was able to have an impact to her life. I will miss her and will for sure see her again ๐Ÿ’•... Also, another great news! My investigator from [another previous area] was also baptized few weeks ago! Sooo happy! ๐Ÿ’• Grateful that I was able to plant a seed to her heart as well ๐Ÿ˜Š I'm excited for what's in store for them. I know that Heavenly Father has His own timing for everything ๐Ÿ˜Š

Video of our service at Crossroads!

Yesterday was our first time to meet the members in our wards. The bishops were so nice too. There were some returned missionaries who gave their homecoming talks yesterday. One of them served in Hawaii and the other one served in the Philippines. It was really nice to hear their mission experiences. It also made me realize that my time here in the mission is running out so I better do everything I can to help our brothers and sisters here in Hong Kong.

First activity in our area (MasterChef Junior!)

First Sunday!

I know that this church is true. We are led by a living prophet today named President Russell M. Nelson. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I also know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. Heavenly Father loves and knows all of us. ๐Ÿ’•

There's more to write but my time is running out. Til next week! ๆˆ‘ๆ„›ไฝ ๅ“‹!

How is everyone? ๐Ÿ˜Š

First off, I have sooo many questions in my mind right now haha you'll know why as you read my weekly email today... Well, here's my update!

Last Saturday night, we had our transfer calls. Days before that, I had a feeling that I'll probably leave the area and someone will step-train my trainee.. Idk, I just have this feeling haha. But anyways, move calls happened! Anddd.. Yeah, I am moving... But I am moving WITH my trainee/baby... They'll close [our] area and pull out the missionaries there ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ SO SAAAAD. But that means, we'll have a new area! Hehe. We're moving to [a totally different area] area, whitewash those, and just do Cantonese work... Oh well, it was sooo hard to say goodbye to the ward members yesterday ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ AHUHU. And telling this sad news to our investigators ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ช๐Ÿ˜ซ

Vids and Pics: Our last Sunday in the Ward

Other than that we had a great week! I had exchanges with Sister Saengchai and it was so fun! She's a great missionary and hearing her conversion story was cool... She got baptized 2 yrs ago (?) and decided do serve a mission. Wow!.. And we also have common friends from Thailand who studied in BYUH. (It's a small world after all ๐ŸŽถ).. Haha..

Our first ward dance class was also launched last week. A returning member in our ward taught it. There were also some investigators who came so it was pretty good. The dance video below! ๐Ÿ˜

But yeah, during the exchange with Sister Saengchai, we had a window with the Mandarin sisters. I was with Sister Teo that time. We were on the street then we found this chyun (village). There weren't a lot of people outside cos it was morning time and the street was kind of empty, but the Spirit told us that we should go to the chyun. And so, the first house we tried to knock on was actually familiar with our church! Miracle! They used to come to the Kids English class at church but [have] been very busy lately. But, we were able to share Plan of Salvation! And the family is originally from China and it was great because Sister Teo was there with me. Sister Teo was able to reschedule them ๐Ÿ˜Š so they will start teaching a family this week. ๐Ÿ˜Š yaaay!

Pics: Exchanges and eating Taro Pie!

After our exchange, me and Sister Madriaga had to go...with our investigator for her first time at church. She's super awesome and has a very high potential to be baptized. She thanked us for bringing her to the church and she said she's excited to read the Book of Mormon too ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ญ I guess we'll just continue keep in touch with our investigators through Facebook. Thanks to technology!.. But still, I AM SO SAD huhuhu haha but I know that God has a plan ๐Ÿ˜Š 2 transfers here in [this] area was so short. I want more. But I'll trust the Lord. I'll go where He wants me to go ๐Ÿ˜Š

Talk to ponder this week:

As I was reading some talks this morning, this talk definitely comforted me ๐Ÿ˜Š Just want to share it too...

"The trial of our faith will always involve staying true to simple, daily practices of faith. Then, and only then, does He promise that we will receive the divine response for which we long. Only once we have proven our willingness to do what He asks without demanding to know the whens, the whys, and the hows do we 'reap the rewards of [our] faith, and [our] diligence, and patience, and long-suffering.' Real obedience accepts God’s commandments unconditionally and in advance."

Obedience is they key. Exact obedience brings miracles. I know this is true. Even though I don't fully understand some things, I know for sure that God loves me and He has a plan for each of us. I love being a missionary! I know that Christ died for us. God knows us and He understands us. He will never forsake us.
