Updates from last week:

We had a great week! It's always fun and uplifting every time I do interviews with our mission president. I asked a gazillion questions and he patiently answers it hahaha 😂
Anyways, last week was full of teaching lessons to some referrals, potentials, and accompanying some of our investigators in...[our] everyday branch.
The first typhoon 8 also happened and surprisingly it came earlier this year. After teaching a lesson last Wednesday morning, we had to go back immediately to our apartment and stayed there for the entire day.
Rain!
Then we had Crossroads foundation service last Thursday. Even though it was still raining, it's always good to feel that we helped some brothers and sisters who are also on the other parts of the world. Then that morning, we got a call from the [neighboring] sisters telling us that a member asked a favor from them. The member's friend is in the hospital here in [our area] and doesn't have anything to eat. After the Crossroads service, we went immediately to the nonmember friend, visited her in the hospital, and ministered her needs. It's always good to serve and help other people. 💕 She said our service gave a good impression about the missionaries, what we do, and about the church. I just said, "We are just doing and following Christ's example. What would Jesus do if he's here? For sure He will help us in any way possible because He loves us." 😊
It was raining hard for the past few days but last Friday afternoon, it wasn't rainy or cloudy at all. So it was a good day! We were doing windows at a park and I was prompted by the Spirit to go to the other side of the park. Little did we know, there was a pohpo (grandma) who is very nice and very willing to listen to us. We were able to share about Plan of Salvation. She was supposed to come to church today but she had to do something this morning so she said she'll come next Sunday instead. After our lesson with her, we found another person who's interested to hear the gospel! So we had back to back lessons during that windows. It was so good! Despite the bad weather few days ago, we were still safe and found some new friends.

Church was good! Hearing those wonderful testimonies of our members makes my own testimony strengthened as well 😊 and recently we have been using technology as much as we can to share this good news. We send some quotes or scripture verses to uplift our brothers and sisters despite the chaotic world.

I know that this is true. And because of the Atonement, Jesus Christ knows exactly what we're going through and how to help. All we have to do is come unto Him, pray, and ask for His help. He loves you! And I love y'all too! I love being a missionary. Have a great week!
