How's everyone's week? ๐Ÿ˜Š ... Chinese New Year was amazing! Haha. We received lots of "red pockets" from our ward members ๐Ÿ˜‰ I love our wards and grateful to serve in [both areas] ๐Ÿ˜Š

Videos and Pictures: Red pockets from our ward members!
We'll ask our Bishop to change the cash to coupons

Updates/Highlights from last week:

- We had Deep Clean for P-Day hahaha! It was fun cleaning though ๐Ÿ˜Š

- Explored more [of the 2nd] area. It's good that we have more finding places to go to! ๐Ÿ˜

- Visited some returning members and friends

- During our finding, we had an amazing street lesson with a lady from Mainland China (but also speaks Cantonese). It was hard to understand her for the most part because of her "Mandarin accent" but I was able to teach her about the Restoration... but when I was trying to give her the Book of Mormon, she rejected it ๐Ÿ˜ž but it was okay! At least I was able to plant a seed in her heart ๐Ÿ˜Š

-We also had our Zone Conference last week and our topic was "Enduring to the End" and how to not just endure but "enjoy" our mission... Some of the highlights I learned from Zone Conf:
  1. Enduring to the End means remaining faithful to our covenants... and it requires total commitment to the Savior and to our covenants.
  2. In the parable of the sower (Matt 13), we are the seeds and we definitely pick our own soil... May we always choose the good soil and continue nourishing ourselves with the good word of God.
  3. Because of some distractions, we sometimes miss an opportunity to grow.
  4. Difficult times in my mission will fade and I will eventually forget them... but good times remain.
  5. My mission is my life training ๐Ÿ˜Š I should not worry when people reject us because there will be more rejections to come ๐Ÿ˜

We love being extra sometimes ๐Ÿ˜

-Update for the people we teach: Extended baptismal invitations and 2 of them accepted it ๐Ÿ˜ We are aiming for March 3rd for the both of them ๐Ÿ˜Š Yay!

Screenshot of text messages haha we were trying to find someone to help fellowship our friend
but they're all busy ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ haha

Busy and fruitful week! I love being a missionary! ๐Ÿ˜ Grateful for this opportunity to learn and to grow ๐Ÿ˜Š Church is true. God loves you!

Have a great week! ๐Ÿ˜Š
