Updates from last week:

Awesome week last week. Nothing much happened but it's always great cos I know that I'm doing the Lord's work here in Hong Kong. My time is almost running out here in the field. Can't believe it! 😭

We visited some members and was able to get to know them. We've been doing a lot of visits...cos they always invite us missionaries. Haha. It's so fun! We even joined the choir yesterday and we're preparing some songs for the Stake Conference next month haha hopefully I won't move out from this area though so I can join them in singing.. But yeah, I think we'll try to be better in getting to know the [rest of the] members this week. It has to be balanced haha 😁

We also did a lot of exploring in our areas and tried different places for windows finding. We had some success in other places but some of them not much. But, we got a new person being taught from last week and some other potentials that we'll be meeting this week so it's exciting 😊

Hmmm. So during our windows last week, we met this man. It was a really short contact but we were able to get his number. We also told him that we would like to give him a church tour the day after and he said "Yes, sure. We'll meet here in the same place tomorrow at this time." He was very nice! Then that evening, we confirmed with him and he said "Yes, I will come tomorrow". We were a bit worried that he'll fong (not show up) us but he showed up and we were able to talk about the Book of Mormon and give him a book. It turned out that he really loves reading and he's actually a writer and has published books about politics and philosophy. Such a cool man!.. But more than that, I am really grateful for the Book of Mormon. I know that it's another testament of Jesus Christ. It's always amazing every time I testify about the book because I know that it is true and it really answers our questions in life

Alsooo, we had some good lessons during our windows finding last week. I think the common theme that we shared last week was about the Plan of Salvation. And y'know, just testifying that all the things that happens around us is part of God's plan.

Also got a great news from the other Filipino sisters that they extended a baptismal date to [someone who I used to teach]. I really know that she has a high potential to be baptized. She accepted it and her date is on September 27th 😊 I am grateful that I was one of the missionaries who was able to plant the seeds in her heart. All the long bus trips...were paid off. I know that some of our investigators... will also and eventually accept the waters of baptism. 💕

I am really grateful to be a missionary and to learn these things. Being here in the mission is definitely hard but it is worth it. The more we forget about ourselves and focus on others, the more He will bless us. He loves us! Never forget that 💕😊

Talk to ponder this week:
