Okaaay, so this past week was a bit weird! The weather throughout last week changed a lot! From 36°C to 27°C, from raining so bad to super hot/sunny weather... and also having this political issues here in Hong Kong is a bit scary too! Wow. But all the missionaries are safe and my area is kinda far from the rally places but still #prayforHK.

I'll try to make this short. Haha... So with this new summer initiative that we have, the Summer Splash 2k19, our week went by sooo fast! There are some days that we have to do three windows finding and it's really exhausting but I've seen miracles, even the smallest one! One miracle happened was when I had exchanges with Sister McColgan (my MTC companion, yaaay) and during one of our windows finding, we met this man...who was very nice and listened to our message! I think we talked to him for like 30mins and shared an overview of the Plan of Salvation (mainly our life's purpose here on Earth). He lives...like an hour away from my area haha but he's still willing to meet with the missionaries there! 😁... Another miracle was when I was with Sister Alboroto and we were doing another windows finding and we approached this...student. For some reason, Sister Alboroto was prompted to share a specific personal experience and it turned out that [she] has also the same experience! [She] said she also didn't know why she went to the place where we're at cos she doesn't usually cross that road. But we said, it's totally God's plan, that He wanted us to meet her 😊 Even though she didn't have that much Gospel interest, still we were able to comfort her in that moment.

Also Zone Conference and Temple day happened last week! 😊 The main topic of our Conference was about Repentance. One of the things that stood out to me was when President Phillips said "The more you help others, the more you help yourself." This is really true! As I have been in my mission helping others to come unto Christ, I have gained a better understanding and a stronger testimony that He really lives and He loves us so much... And I know that as we experience forgiveness, we will receive this desire to share this wonderful feeling to other people as well... Repentance is real. Change is amazing. Because of Jesus Christ, it allows us to be new creatures. Repentance should be a joyful process. 😊

I love my mission. I love this gospel! I love being a representative of Jesus Christ. I know that the Lord recognizes our efforts and He knows what we are going through. He hears our prayers and He will answer them. Just be patient and trust God. 😊
