大家好! 你哋上個星期點啊?😊

I had a great week! The days are really passing by so fast 😭 My friends from the MTC are all home which means I'm the next one too. Waaaa. Can't believe it! Anyways, had a great week doing missionary work!

Updates from last week:

A fun thing that happened during one of our windows was there's this celebrity shooting for a movie. We were wondering why there's a bunch of people and so we asked a Filipina who passed in front of us and stopped her. Good conversation starter and we invited her to church haha... then when we went to another area...for our afternoon window that day, the celebrity is also there shooting for another scene. Me and my companion thought maybe he's the one prepared for us that day? Haha. But yes, we were able to find some good people on that day 😊

Wednesday church service was good too. We had a member referral who came that day and she's coming again this Wednesday 😊

Last Thursday for our morning windows, we met a lady. We have been talking to a lot of people for the past 30 minutes and no one wants to talk to us because they're in a hurry and so we decided to sit at the bench where she was sitting and started talking to her. She was very nice! She's new here in Hong Kong, about a month, and also asked us for some directions on how to go to a certain park. That park she was talking about is really close to [the] church and so we accompanied her... but first we gave her a church tour, shared about the Book of Mormon, and she's coming back to church this week 😊

I also hit my 18 months last Friday! My mission truly taught me things that I'll be forever grateful for 😊

Our District Conference happened this weekend! I have learned a lot from those meetings and am also grateful for the inspired messages from the speakers. I am also grateful for the Come Follow Me program and heard the members' testimony on how their lives were changed by it... I also liked a talk given last Saturday wherein the speaker gave an analogy and used as an example the American show called "Fixer Uppers". I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with this show 😊 He said we are all fixer uppers. Wherever we are, there's fixing up to do and we do have our supporting casts (or the ministering program). But most importantly, we should always remember that through the Atonement of Christ, everything can be "fixed" 😊 Because with Him, all things are possible.

And lastly, there were 3 baptisms yesterday, one from Mandarin branch and 2 from the Island (Filipino) branch! So grateful to be part of it, to learn their wonderful conversion stories, and to support them as they start walking on the covenant path.

I am truly blessed to have this gospel. This is the reason why I am here, to invite others to come unto Christ. I know He lives and He loves us. He is always there willing to stretch His hand and help us... I love you all! See you next week! 💕 More pics and videos below!

Talk to ponder this week:
